Jolie, Pitt not adopting Haitian child

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have dismissed rumours that they are about to adopt a child from Hiati.
The couple was said to be in the ''latter stages'' of adding a baby girl called Lean into their brood, reports the Daily Mail.
The reports also claimed that the child was going to make a trial visit to the U. S to make sure Leah adapts well, before being permanently placed with the Jolie-Pitt''s six other children.

The 28-year-old opened up to fans during a live Twitter interview from her house in Calabassas, California.
She said: ‘I’m really just a boring homebody who loves staying home with my kids and that’s where I’m the happiest.’
Just hours later the star emerged to pick up her youngest son Jayden James from a karate class in Encino, California.
The smiling star looked to be in a great mood, flashing a big smile as she carried the four-year-old out of the class escorted by two bodyguards.
She was dressed casually in jeans and a blue sweater and brown fur lined boots but looked fresh faced and fit with her blond hair pulled back off her face.
Even her usually messy hair extensions looked clean and tidy.
Britney was clearly in high spirits after chatting with a handful of her seven million Twitter followers.

Why Is Courteney Cox a 'Cougar' with a Cane?

The Cougar Town star was spotted walking around the set of her ABC show Thursday with the help of a cane.
So what's up? Cox, it turns out, has a bum knee thanks to a recent surgery.
"The minor knee surgery was planned," a rep for the actress tells PEOPLE. "[The cane] will be written into one episode of Cougar Town but will not affect the production schedule at all."
The show, which is in production but currently on hiatus, will return to ABC for a special post-Dancing with the Stars episode April 18 (9:30 p.m. ET) and will be back on at its regular timeslot (Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m. ET) two days later.
"[Cox is] working every day," according to a source, who adds that the series will wrap in Los Angeles the first week of March, then the cast will go to Hawaii to shoot the season finale, which will air in May.

What better way to celebrate the knockout (and Oscar-nominated) film The Fighter than with a star-studded party?
Drew Barrymore was on-hand to catch up with friends Eva Mendes and Hilary Swank at a Dewar's Signature-hosted bash at the Brentwood, Calif., home of  Fighter producer David Hoberman. Dressed in a sequined skirt, top and blazer, Barrymore was a bundle of energy as she made her way through the party with a male friend. She immediately ran into Terrence Howard, whom she kissed on the cheek.
Apart from all the conversation, there was food – plenty of it – catered by Animal, an L.A. hotspot. Guests enjoyed passed appetizers, including mini-lobster rolls, scallops with warm truffle vinaigrette and blistered tomatoes, lamb meatballs with mint and tomato, and much more.
There were cocktails (see below for a recipe), and plenty of sweets for dessert, including a sticky toffee pudding cake and a mini-bacon chocolate crunch bar.

Heidi Montag Upset by Andy Cohen's 'Hurtful' Comments

Andy Cohen struck a nerve when he said Thursday that he'd rather "stab ... knives into my own eyes" than have Heidi Montag join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
"Andy's tasteless remarks were hurtful and completely unnecessary," Montag tells PEOPLE. "I was simply being playful. I'm well aware I'm not the right demo for that show, but Andy Cohen took it to a malicious place. I have always been a fan of the Housewives franchise and I don't appreciate being bullied."
The harsh comments came from Cohen during his Watch What Happens Live late night talk show. Cohen also called Montag "delusional," for a Tweet that implied that she was in talks to appear on Real Housewives.
"Watch out Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Here comes Heidi," the former Hills star wrote with a link to a report that said she and husband Spencer Pratt were in talks with show producers.

Tori Spelling Opening a Shop Called – You Got It – InvenTORI

Much like her character on Beverly Hills, 90210, Tori Spelling is starting her own boutique.
InvenTORI, which will sell antiques as well as products for children and pets, opens for business in the San Fernando Valley community of Sherman Oaks, Calif. on Monday.
"I've been a collector all my life," Spelling says. "I have a true love of antiques and beautiful pieces for the home. I realized I no longer had enough space to keep up with all of my finds so that's how I came up with the store concept of InvenTORI. I now can share my collection with others."
Coincidently, Spelling's store is just two doors down from fellow actress Lisa Rinna's boutique, Belle Gray.

Angelina Jolie denies reports of Haiti adoption

Angelina Jolie has no plans to adopt a child from earthquake-hit Haiti, despite persistent reports in British newspapers that she is about to add another child to her brood of six, a spokesman for the actress said on Friday.
Adam Waldman, an advisor to Jolie in her philanthropic efforts, told U.S. news website The Daily Beast that the Oscar-winning actress was in Haiti working on a project to improve child welfare and safety.
Jolie has never even met the four-year-old Haitian orphan called Leah, who British and other newspapers claim she is in the process of adopting, Waldman told The Daily Beast.
"Earlier this week, the Daily Mirror U.K. and others reported that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are in the process of adopting a child from Haiti," Waldman said in a statement.
"There is no truth to these rumors.
"Rather, Ms. Jolie is focused on enhancing the welfare and legal protection of children within Haiti. As such, she has been meeting with government of Haiti officials, Haitian legal experts and non-governmental organizations regarding a new initiative of the Jolie-Pitt Foundation. The recently launched Jolie Legal Fellows Program will assist the justice system in Haiti to improve child protection," the statement added.
Jolie, 35, and partner Brad Pitt have six children, three of whom -- Maddox, Pax and Zahara -- were adopted from Cambodia, Vietnam and Ethiopia respectively.
The star of "Salt" and "The Tourist" was named a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador in 2001 and has made several trips to Haiti, as well as donating $1 million to relief efforts for the victims of the 2010 earthquake.
